Bailey's Bandannas

Being an aging male cocker spaniel seriously limits the accessories that Bailey can wear to spice up his appearance. He can't wear bows or ribbons without raising confusion of his gender. (He despises it when he hears, "Aww, she's so cute!" directed towards him.) So, he decided that he liked bandannas the most. They add versatility in his life and just makes him so much darn cuter.

He sometimes goes for the almost-cravat look to match the more royal purple color. He hasn't mastered the art of tying cravats just yet, so he just ties two knots to improvise.

He also likes wearing bandannas as neckerchiefs, which gives what he thinks is a cowboy look and makes him feel totally cool. It also doesn't hurt for it to double as a bib to catch and wipe off his drool since he often has difficulty controlling his salivary glands in the sight and smell of delicious food.

To protect his head from the wind and sun, Bailey tried a new method of tying yet another bandanna. However, to do so required him to tie the ends under his mouth, and as a result, made him look like an old grandma.

So, he usually goes for the neckerchief to avoid any ridicule.

He is just too vain!
