Sunkissed Snooze

The lazy, warm Sunday air intoxicates Bailey with drowsiness. It no longer matters that the bed is a strictly forbidden area  for him. Why sleep on a stinky, scratchy floor when there are plush, cool comforters available for his use? Momma won't be home for another hour, anyway.

So the elderly dog snoozes on, basking in the gentle warmth of the rays filtering through the window shutters. He had not a single worry or care in the world. No dogs to intimidate at when he was actually frightened to the core, no food to whine for at the dinner table.

Just a sweet little snooze under the Sunday sun.
